The terroir

Parcel

On a gentle slope, the terroir changes markedly from the top to the bottom of the Clos: stony, shallow soils on limestone bedrock in the upper part, becoming gradually deeper and more clay-rich towards the lower part.

Pinot Noir

Our know-how

From vineyard to cellar

Winemaking

After hand harvesting and sorting, 70% of the grapes are destemmed and 30% kept as whole clusters, then placed in stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation. The wine is aged for 18 months, 20% in new barrels and 80% in barrels that have already held 2 to 3 wines.
