The Mercurey terroir rests on a particularly varied geology, dominated by Oxfordian marls and marl-limestone soils, with white limestone soils alternating with redder, more clay-rich ones.

Pinot Noir

Our know-how

From vineyard to cellar

Winemaking

Hand-harvested. Once destemmed, the grapes are placed in stainless steel tanks for pre-fermentation maceration and vinification. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, 30% of them new, for 8 to 12 months.
