The terroir

Parcel

Between 280 and 380 meters above sea level, the Premiers Crus of Gevrey-Chambertin occupy the upper part of the Côte. The soils are deep and rich in clay. Because of their location, the vines are influenced by cold air flowing down from the Combe de Lavaux.

Grape variety

Pinot Noir

Our know-how

From vineyard to cellar

Winemaking

After hand harvesting and sorting, 70% of the grapes are destemmed and 30% kept as whole clusters, then placed in stainless steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation. The wine is aged for 14 months, 20% in new barrels and 80% in barrels that have already held 2 to 3 wines.
